(VIRTUAL) Two Nerdy History Girls

Monday, July 157:00—8:00 PMZoom

Adults Ages 18+ / Registration Required (Zoom)

Authors Loretta Chase and Susan Holloway Scott are the originators of the infamous blog "Two Nerdy History Girls" where they talked about all things history and writing. Join us virtually via Zoom on Monday, July 15, at 7 PM when Loretta and Susan will answer all of our burning questions, such as, how do they find interesting tidbits of historical lore, which libraries of the world have they visited, and how do they avoid the inescapable "rabbit hole" when conducting research? We can't wait to be a part of the fascinating conversation between these two friends! This virtual program is presented with Ashland (MA) Public Library.

Loretta Chase has worked in academe, retail, and the visual arts, as well as on the streets—as a meter maid—and in video, as a scriptwriter. She might have developed an excitingly checkered career had her spouse not nagged her into writing fiction. Her bestselling historical romances, set in the Regency and Romantic eras of the early nineteenth century, have won a number of awards, including the Romance Writers of America’s RITA® and Vivian®. For more about her past, her books, and what she does and doesn’t do on social media, please visit her website.

Susan Holloway Scott is the author of over fifty historical novels and novellas, including The Secret Wife of Aaron Burr. Her bestselling books have received numerous awards and honors, and with more than four million copies of her books in print, she has been published in nineteen foreign countries around the world. She has also written under the pseudonyms Isabella Bradford and Miranda Jarrett. Susan's website can be found HERE.

Although they are no longer actively posting, check out their blog, Two Nerdy History Girls!
