What Turns Your Page: (VIRTUAL) Fantasy Book Recs with Kristen of the Fantasy Cafe

Thursday, August 206:30—7:00 PMZoom

Ages 18+ / Registration required on Zoom

Love Fantasy books but not sure what to read next? Beginning on Thursday, February 19 at 6:30 PM and continuing quarterly on the third Thursday of the month, join blogger, Kristen, of Fantasy Cafe for  her recommendations of some of the best of Fantasy books out there! We're sure you'll find something to like from Kristen's many enthusiastic reviews. This program is presented with the Ashland Public Library in MA, and they will send out a list of all recommendations to those who register.

Kristen has been blogging about fantasy and science fiction books since 2007. Though she enjoys a variety of speculative fiction subgenres, she has a special fondness for dark stories, complicated characters, and books that incorporate myths and history. In addition to hosting her reviews and other book coverage, her website has celebrated Women in SF&F Month every April since 2012, an event that has featured more than 200 guest posts by women in SFF over the years. She lives in Vermont with her husband and several (yet somehow never enough) bookshelves. You can also find Kristen on Bluesky as @fantasycafe, where she likes to chat about books and Baldur’s Gate 3.

Register directly on Zoom HERE. You can sign up for one session or for all!
